Pups and Pipers Pet Parade
Come one, Come all to The Third Annual FKCF Pups and Pipers Parade. Bring your well behaved pet on a leash or in a cart - just please keep them contained and in control! Costumes are not required but are highly encouraged! Line up begins at The Celtic Crossroads Activity Tent and ends in front of the stage for a brief photo opportunity. The Parade starts at 1:00 so arrive early!
The festival is a live music event with lots of people and may not be the best environment for all pets. If your furry friend is sensitive to loud noises or large crowds, this may not be the best experience for them. Please remember, Safety First!
Only bring well behaved dogs.
All pets must be on a leash at all times.
Please clean up after your pet.
For everyone's safety, we reserve the right to ask you to remove your pet cannot behave or cause a problem for other patrons.
Shortbread Showdown
Join the excitement by submitting your favorite recipe to participate in the inaugural Florida Keys Celtic Festival SHORTBREAD SHOWDOWN! Participation in the contest is free, but you need a festival ticket to enter. Share your beloved traditional or flavored shortbread recipe for a chance to win.
Shortbread Contest Rules
No store bought dough or cookies.
Shortbread must be prepared by person entering
An entry form must accompany each entry
Submit 50 (bite size) samples in a disposable container by 11:00 am Sunday
Shortbread may be round, square or pie shaped
Judging will be done by a blind taste test by a panel of judges and a fan favorite will be voted on by festival attendees.
No entry fee but you must have a festival ticket to enter
Calling All Artist for The Florida Keys Celtic Festival Art in the Park
We live in a beautiful place and everyone can create something that relates to the Florida Keys. No categories, no specific theme.
Elizabeth Young will be our judge and we will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and a people’s choice award. The people’s choice will be awarded at the end of the Festival. The other awards will be judged Saturday morning and ribbons placed on the pieces for the duration of the Festival. Gift baskets for 1st prize and people’s choice.
The requirements: all artwork must be created within the last year. It must be original and not have won any previous awards. Entries must be ready to hang, no saw tooth hangers, no nails, string or staples showing. Mats must be fresh, clean and unspotted. Artists may enter 1 piece of original art, not to exceed 50 united inches including the mat. (IE, total of 2 sides of the work 18 x 32 or 25 X 25 or anything else that adds up to 50”). This does not include the frame which should be no more than 2”.
There is no fee to enter your art. If you would like to attend the festival, you must purchase a ticket.
