Iona Tea Garden

Experience a traditional Tea, served by “Celtic” maidens and downstairs maids, in a relaxing garden setting.

The Iona Tea Garden welcomes all Celts and non-Celts to take a moment to share a variety of sweet treats and a hot cup of tea with a friend.

Friendly maidens enhance your traditional tea garden experience by serving you bottomless hot tea in delicate china cups. Sweet treats include freshly baked scones with Devonshire cream and black currant jam and traditional tea sandwiches.

The Tea Garden’s will be ideally situated to hear the evocative Celtic music that surrounds you. If you still don’t want to miss a single moment of the action, tea and pastries are also available to-go.

High Tea With Mary, Queen of Scots

Mudlark Living History proudly brings to you Mary, Queen of Scots  

Join her as she strolls through the festival lanes, takes tea at the lovely tea room, and cheers on the athletes.

Find her in the 42nd Highland Regiment's historical encampment for a meet and greet, and take your portrait with the most beloved queen of Scotland.”

Enjoy Afternoon Tea with Mary, Queens of Scots and her ladies in waiting. Tea will be served at 3:00 pm on Saturday. Space is limited, so reserve your place. Tickets include a light lunch, tea, sweets, photo opportunities with Queen Mary and a special gift.
