The Mission of The Florida Keys Celtic Festival is to bring the rich cultural heritage and history of the Celtic Nations through music, dance, history and games to the community and visitors of the Florida Keys. The FKCF benefits The Hammock House @ St. Columba, a free after school and camp program. Florida Keys Celtic Festival features family-friendly Celtic rock and Traditional music, Irish & Scottish Dancing, Sheep-dog herding, Pipes and Drums, a Children’s Glen with games, face painting and fun activities, and fabulous Celtic (and Keys) foods and crafts vendors. Highland Athletics, the original Strongman sport, features a sanctioned Woman's Highland Athletics Competition on Saturday. Join us on Sunday for a little friendly competition at our FKCF Marathon Games Day!

Proceeds from the Florida Keys Celtic Festival support The Hammock House at St. Columba Episcopal Church. The Hammock House after school care and Just for Fun summer and school break camps provide Marathon's kids a no cost healthy place to thrive emotionally, intellectually, artistically and spiritually. The Hammock House is open to all and has been serving families in the Middle Keys for more than 10 years.

LIVE MUSIC

Albannach

Albannach primarily hails from Scotland’s industrial heartland of Glasgow. With one bagpiper, three drummers, and a didgeridoo, they create unrivaled sounds that echo from the ancient glens of Alba (ancient name of Scotland). Their primal Pipe and Drum carry the very essence of what it is to be Scottish in every note: Passion, Power and Pride. Performing worldwide since 2005 with six albums, two DVDs and countless awards to their name, this musical War-Hammer shows no signs of slowing down as they continue to pound out the live shows with their raw energy and captivating performance as they have done in thousands of shows over the years.

The Screaming Orphans

The Screaming Orphans are four sisters with the good fortune to have been raised in the magic of Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland. While we can never forget our roots in traditional Irish music, the Screaming Orphans draw on a diverse set of influences ranging from Simon and Garfunkel, The Bangles to The McNulty Family, with a strong focus on melody-driven songs with pop and rocks strains.

West of Galway

Based in Naples, Florida, West of Galway has been entertaining Irish music loving crowds throughout Florida and on the festival circuit up and down the eastern USA.

The Byrne Brothers

The Byrne Brothers are a father and sons family band originally from Dublin, Ireland now living in Orlando, Florida. Their viral videos shot in the pubs and streets of Ireland have made them one of the most recognizable bands in Celtic music. The Byrne Brothers’ performances feature brilliant musicianship on the traditional instruments for which they’ve won numerous championships, including banjo, accordion, bodhrán, uilleann pipes, fiddle and guitar. Brothers Dempsey, Finn, and Luca are also Champion Irish dancers. Shows are fun-loving and fast-paced, a delight for all ages.
