Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the weather like in the Florida Keys in January?
Normally, our temperatures range from 70 to 85 degrees in January with lots of sunshine. Perfect!

We have increased our numbers each year since our first festival in 2014. For 2020, we expect 6,000 attendees.
- Are there exit and re-enter privileges for the same day?
Yes. You will have a specific color wristband which will allow you to leave the park and return the same day.
- Are pets allowed in the park?
No. The City of Marathon Parks Department states that no pets are allowed in the park at any time. Any service dog owner must show legal paperwork at the gate and the dog must wear the appropriate service identification.
- How many vendors do you have?
Our vendors and exhibitors range from 50 to 125 and are made up of non-profit agencies to local arts and crafts to our distinctive Celtic vendors whom we plan to spotlight in a Celtic Village this year.

A Sunday morning Celtic Contemporary Worship Service is held at 9:30 a.m. onsite. However, the festival will not open until 11 a.m.
- When can vendors get onto the field to set up?
Vendors are scheduled to arrive and set up on Friday, January 10th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Correspondence will be sent to all paid vendors prior to arrival with specifics and an estimated time of arrival. The City Park allows only a limited number of vehicles on the field at one time, so you will be assigned an estimated time of arrival and set-up. We will work with your schedule to accommodate your arrival to the Keys timeframe.
- When can vendors dismantle and leave?
Vendors are asked to not disassemble until 5 p.m. on Sunday. We will stay in contact with each vendor throughout the final hours of the festival to schedule your departure and ensure a safe exit from the park. Vehicles are not allowed on the grounds until the festival has closed and attendees are off the field. Vendors should be cleared from the park within two hours or less after closing.
- Is there security on the field overnight for vendors and exhibitors?
Yes. There is security on the field overnight and local police monitor the area closely throughout the nighttime hours.
- Is there onsite parking?
Yes, there is onsite parking. Police officers and parking attendants will direct you as you arrive. There is also off-site parking close by that will be clearly marked.
